Description: Sorry is described as a slender girl in her teens, she has black hair and dark slanted eyes, a common trait of Kanese people. She carries at least two knives.
History: She lived with her father in a small hut, close to their fishing boat. She was headed to the market to sell off their catch in order to fix their nets and pay off their debts when she is possessed by the Rope, the Patron god of Assassins as part of his plans. Just prior to the possession, she encounters Rigga, a wax witch with a small level of magical talent, one of which being prophecy. Rigga foresees Sorry's fate, and also possesses the girl, trying to give her some measure of protection from the god. The people of the village (barring her father) are slaughtered, and she eventually makes her way to an army recruiting station in Aragan and joins the Malazan Army. Currently, she has served for two years.
Personality: As a soldier, her squad mates give her wide berth, forever labelling her as a recruit and refusing to accept her into their ranks. She's very cold, has a way of puzzling things out, and will do anything to achieve her goals, up to and including torture. She holds herself under strict control, and has what some would call a killer's eyes.
Abilities: She has the ability to sense the use of warrens nearby, which is the magic system of her world.
She is adept with her knives and other methods of killing due to her work as a soldier and as the avatar of the Rope, favoring a form of martial arts called the Shadowdance (equivalent to Capoeira).
She is also trained in stealth tactics and interrogation, skills passed onto her through her possession with the Rope, who was the head of the previous Emperor's assassins. The Talon served the empire internally, eliminating threats that would come from within.
Sorry is knowledgeable with regards to sailing and fishing.
Through the Rope, she knows the martial art form of the Shadow Dance, which is akin to Capoeira.
